CUSO hosts event for clients with educational sessions, networking opportunities with tech leaders and peers
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 20, 2023 – Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO that hosts the Symitar core processing system from Jack Henry™ to provide a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs, today shared highlights from the MDT E3 Conference which took place last month at the Westin Southfield in Southfield, Michigan. This year’s event was centered on three key themes: engage, educate and empower.
There were nearly 300 attendees from 57 credit unions at the conference, including 66 first-timers. MDT and Jack Henry executives were present as well as 14 other business partners who had booths in the vendor hall and led sessions.
This year marked Darren Cameron’s, CEO and president of OUR Credit Union, first time at the MDT client conference. He commented, “The MDT E3 Conference is unique because it doesn’t just cater to certain departments at the credit union; there were just as many relevant sessions for me as a CEO as there were for our IT specialist. There were 40 sessions at the conference. Michael Hahn, international speaker and author on organizational culture, employee engagement and personal behavior change, gave a keynote on finding your inner superhero. Dave Foss, board chair and CEO of Jack Henry, gave a second keynote, providing insight on the company’s technology modernization strategy as well as sharing why credit unions are well-poised to succeed in today’s landscape.
