SALARY RANGE

$60,000 – $70,000

POSITION LOCATION

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Currently 5 days of on-site work per month are required.

POSITION PURPOSE

Implementation Analysts play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless integration of core and preferred partner software solutions. Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of project stakeholders, encompassing both clients and internal employees. Acting as a liaison between clients and technical staff, the Analyst ensures effective communication and alignment of project objectives throughout the implementation process. Collaborating with various departments, they champion high-quality product development by validating through thorough Quality Assurance (QA) Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Creating and updating comprehensive procedural documentation for both new projects and existing systems development.

Once the requirement baseline is established, the Analyst transitions focus towards managing requirements specifications and verifying the fulfillment of all identified needs. This involves continuous coordination with stakeholders to guarantee that the delivered solutions meet or exceed expectations, driving the successful integration and utilization of core and preferred partner software solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills assist with translating business operations into technical requirements.
  • Writes requirements specifications according to standard templates, using simple language clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
  • Configure and customize software settings to align with the client needs.
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project or implementation.
  • Follows current requirements practices and provides suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Conducts periodic status touch points with other members of the implementation team to identify issues and ensure project dates are met.
  • Collaborating with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to gather and analyze business requirements for core software modules.
  • Tests software from the perspective of functionality, usability, reliability, integration, and performance.
  • Assists in diagramming processes and provides documentation of Quality Assurance activities as needed.
  • Validates and verifies compliance with system specifications, standards, documentation of test plans and quality plans.
  • Works proactively with development teams to ensure built-in quality throughout the entire project development and implementation process.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of the software products from a functional testing standpoint.
  • Makes suggestions to increase efficiency in Quality Assurance and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues.
  • Develops a strong understanding of client objectives and assesses their business strategies and needs in relation to their objectives.
  • Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions and task and workflow analysis.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing sessions with clients, providing guidance on test execution, documenting test results, and capturing feedback on software functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Ensures effective ongoing communication with clients to maintain high levels of customer retention.
  • Works to foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Keeps management well informed of activities and any significant problems.
  • Utilizes appropriate communication tools based on company standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and user guides for future reference.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Completes assigned documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Attends and participates in meetings, conference calls, and seminars as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of college training in Business, Computer Science, or related field; or an equivalent amount of experience in credit union operations and practices.
  • Three years of experience in financial institution core processing.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of business analysis processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of financial institution processing systems. Symitar preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the industry, preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
  • Occasional day/overnight in-state and out-of-state travel.
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours as required.
  • Long duration of computer workstation usage.

The compensation is based on experience and offers a base salary plus bonus opportunities. We offer BCBS benefits, dental, disability and life insurance at 90 days and 401K after one year.
