By Larry Nichols, President and CEO

Greetings, all!

The leaves are changing, school is back in session, and football rivalries are in full swing. That can only mean that fall is finally here!

We are thrilled to have recently been named a Best Place to Work in Fintech by American Banker and Best Companies Group for the fourth year in a row. Rankings were directly determined based on employee feedback about their work environments. Creating a collaborative, inviting and balanced culture where all voices are heard and celebrated is a top priority at MDT, and it is so rewarding to see these efforts continue to pay off.

Fall not only brings cooler weather and pumpkin-flavored everything, but it also brings budget season and planning for next year’s events. The MDT E3 conference (formerly known as MDT Connect) will take place next May in Michigan, and you won’t want to miss it! We will once again bring together our strong community of clients and partners, with content and networking opportunities designed to engage, educate and evolve all attendees. This year, we had nearly 300 attendees from 57 credit unions, and I’m confident we can beat that record next year! Stay tuned for registration details soon.

Speaking of great events, we are excited to share that the CEO Forum will take place next summer, and it’s headed to the West coast! We look forward to hosting you at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp in August 2024, where CEOs are invited to come together to collaborate on common challenges and opportunities and have strategic discussions with MDT and Jack Henry executives. I never fail to leave this event energized and inspired. We can’t wait to see you there!

Before we know it, we’ll be picking out our Halloween costumes, having the age-old debate of apple versus pecan pie, and spending the holidays with our loved ones. You know what they say – time flies when you’re having fun, and we continue to have fun at MDT, supporting credit unions across the country. For now, I hope everyone has a fantastic fall!

Warmly,

Larry
