Connect 2020 Webinars – A Rousing Success!


Even though we could not meet in person this year for Connect 2020, our client conference, MDT still wanted to offer our clients some of the tremendous learning opportunities we would have shared with you in person! During the month of June, we offered 16 different sessions (at no cost!) via webinar, and by the looks of the statistics we have gathered from the overall virtual conference, you were happy that we did so!

Our most attended session was the MDT Product Roadmap (presented by MDT’s Matt Baaki and Carla Bettens) with 82 attendees. The second most popular webinar session was Episys Productivity Suite – MicroApps (presented by MDT employees April Schultz and Emily Nabozny) with 73 participants.

Overall, we had 197 client attendees from 66 different client credit unions. Community Choice Credit Union had the strongest turnout with 14 employees attending! For all 16 sessions, we had a total attendance of 748 people (including clients, MDT employees and business partners)!

We received some very positive feedback on our initial move into the virtual conference world via Zoom. Some comments:

  • The guys did a good job keeping it clear and easy to understand.
  • Very clear and concise!
  • Presentation was excellent and thorough.
  • Clear, precise, witty … they showed us pieces that would definitely touch our interests.
  • I especially valued the slides that outlined the details of the MDT firewall.
  • It was Elizabeth and Claudette … you don’t get much better than that!
  • It was good to see the live demo of PowerFrame Docs and how to link fields.

Also, we appreciate the suggestions that you made in the survey feedback! MDT will be reviewing these with the appropriate departments with the goal of continuing to improve our client conference (or virtual conference!) year over year.

A huge thanks to all of the webinar session presenters – both MDT and our business partners. And, thank you to Carla Bettens and Eric Gubka and their teams for serving as moderators and handling all the minutiae that went into making these presentations professional and well executed for our clients. Thanks also to our clients who made time to attend the sessions.
