Farmington Hills, MI – June 29, 2015 – Member Driven Technologies, a Michigan-based Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO), and Advanced Fraud Solutions today announced a partnership to provide frontline loss prevention tools to credit unions through the use of AFS’ TrueChecksTM product. TrueChecks proactively identifies losses such as counterfeits, NSF, and closed account data before the check is accepted by the institution. This product offers both real time and same-day batch solutions for identifying high-risk transactions at the frontline, but also from remote, ATM, and additional channels.

According to Matt Baaki, MDT’s SVP of Strategic Alliances & Professional Services, “MDT is always looking to offer our credit union clients additional services that will help them to be successful, and we are particularly interested in those that integrate with other offerings such as this does. The TrueChecksTM product will allow our credit unions to make better decisions about the transactions they accept – thus reducing losses – which will have a very positive impact on both the credit union and its members.”

“We are excited about partnering with MDT because they have a proven track record of offering credit unions not only great service but also strong security and data protection,” said Lawrence Reaves, President/CEO of AFS. “Loss prevention through the use of high quality data is what we bring to the table. AFS is the industry leader in high-risk check identification. Our proprietary data is unmatched in the industry for identifying and stopping check losses for financial institutions. We look forward to working with MDT to protect credit unions against these types of losses.”

MDT will be offering educational webinars the week of July 13, highlighting AFS’ TrueChecksTM solution in both a standalone environment and integrated into MDT’s uSelect Capture Services suite of products, powered by Bluepoint Solutions.
