SALARY RANGE

$100,000 – $130,000 + Commission

POSITION LOCATION

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Currently 5 days of on-site work per month are required. 

POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales Manager.  This position will be responsible for acquiring new business and providing support during the sales cycle.  A vast knowledge base of the company’s history, strategic goals and future direction is critical.  This position will be the front of the company and will have the opportunity to execute to an effective sales strategy.  The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES      

  • Establish sales collateral for prospects visits – which will include but is not limited to White Papers, Testimonials, cost analysis, recorded presentations. 
  • Focuses on identifying and closing leads, a direct line to revenue. 
  • Develop company overview presentation to align to MDT strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to present and train on the MDT company overview presentation with focus being new core system business as well as consulting services. 
  • Aide as needed for onsite and digital presentations for prospective clients.
  • Assist with answering Request for Proposal (RFP’s) and Request for Information (RFI’s) for prospective clients.
  • Aiding in contract legal reviews and preparation of contracts.
  • Constructing proposals for prospective clients.
  • Identify, manage and leverage a referral/CRM platform.
  • Assess the technical skills and cultural fit of potential hires.
  • Oversee the structured onboarding process of new sales employees. This includes making sure that new team members are well-integrated into the company and fully understand their roles, responsibilities, and the broader company goals
  • Ensures that every member of the sales team understands MDT’s playbook thoroughly and is trained on brand messaging, product details, and unique selling propositions
  • Manage and identify tradeshow attendance, city tours, company-sponsored events & promotions.
  • Track Sales Executive engagements such as onsite kickoff meetings, tradeshow participation, digital meetups, etc.
  • Sales forecasting, manage pipeline for both new core opportunities as well as consulting engagements
  • Continued development and implementing of strategies to reach new clients and expand market presence
  • Collaboration with teams, work closely with marketing and PdMO to align strategies and share insight
  • Monitor KPIs and assess effectiveness of campaigns and new business lines.
  • Manage and maintain budget for sales activities and the ability to support new lines of business
  • Ensures that all area activities are conducted safely.
  • Oversees special projects as requested.
  • Ensures that all office areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Promotes goodwill and conveys a positive image of the Company.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors in business or related field required.
  • Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of sales experience required.
  • 10 or more years of client services experience required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Technical knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and financial reports.
  • Understanding of related regulations, statutes, and filing requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of accounting software.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
  • Regular in-state and/or out-of-state travel.
  • Additional hours as required.
  • Long duration of computer workstation usage

The compensation is based on experience and offers a base salary plus bonus opportunities. We offer BCBS benefits, dental, disability and life insurance at 90 days and 401K after one year.
